I see your point about all the 'economic' connections premies have had in Miami over the years. Also that particular venue has hosted many events with M that I have attended. It just seems a bit over-the-top for someone in Padron's position to send national emails out to other students about this event, and do so much gushing about M, unless he was 'high' on that inspiration to want to 'serve.' But like you say, EV/TPRF's marketing could have gone up the chain from lower, and if they used that deceptive PR that "M addressed the UN" and they did the appropriate name-dropping, they may have just snowed everyone.
