It's always difficult to accept that someone in Padron's positon may be acting naively but it is unfair to suggest that he's doing anything other than his job in promoting the profile of his College. Of course he's made a huge error in entering Miami Dade College into a tie up with a corrupt cult and even the UN Food Aid connection is not going to ammeliorate the PR disaster that Padron has signed up to.
This kind of sponsorship arrangment is unlikely to have come from Padron himself - far more likely is that the package was brought to him via a member of the College Board - and even if Padron was the Elan Vital/TPRF's first contact - the College Board must have agreed to the sponsorship arrangement.
I think it's important to recognise how well connected the cult is in Miami - the premie tourist spend that so excited Mayor Dremer to give Rawat the Keys to Miami Beach, together with the Amtext business influence and Rawat's multmillion dollar yacht trading clearly combine to 'buy' credence amongst some of Miami's 'great and good'.
