A class action suit is VERY appropiate. I volunteer to find a lawyer.

This proposal has come up on forums in the past. My understanding is that an action needs to be brought by an individual, & that the 'class' just tags along behind, claiming that they have suffered the exact same damage.

Quite apart from the fact that no court would listen to anyone who claimed they were ripped off because a guy who told them he could connect them to God, turned out not to be able to do that, there is no particular consensus amongst ex followers that the meditation is harmful.

I have a hunch that it may be in a purely physical sense; in that the practice of putting pressure on the eyeballs over a long period of time is likely to cause damage, but proving that would be extremely expensive. I believe the cult lawyers were aware of that possibility over 25 yrs ago. There was a K review when Rawat emphasised that the eyeballs shouldn't be pressed, in direct contradiction to the oafs (mahatmas) he'd licenced to carry out the procedure previously.

I'd certainly recommend all exes to go to an optician & get a glaucoma check.

Also, please, everyone, consider Rjchinook's post regarding signing a petition to voice our opinion and needs to our Public Servants, powers above.

This is completely unrealistic. How many people would sign it?

Apart from that we are scattered all over the world.

I'm sorry to pour cold water on your idea, especially when I totally share the reasons why you want to do it, but........
