I agree.

People who sincerely followed Rawat lost things as a result of his deception, megalomania, lies, or mental illness, and as you say, it may have varied from one person to the next as to exactly how much that was.

And don't forget the psychological damage Rawat caused.  There is just no deeper level on which to be ripped off, than on a spiritual, aspirational, idealistic level.  It's so much worse than just being ripped of financially, or even in a personal relationship, because it is being ripped off at your core, at the level of your desire to devote yourself for the greater good, and to develop fully as a human being.

So, it's pretty damaging, and it takes a lot of work to recover from that, as most ex-premies know. In spite of that, most ex-premies I know, especially the ones who talk publicly about it, have done an excellent job doing that.

I agree that we never want to get into a "who got more ripped off" contest here.  Plus, it's a pretty painful subject anyway.

The bottom line is this:  you only have so much time in your life, and if you find you were the victim of a big, fat lie, that caused you to waste some of that precious time, it's very unfortunate.
