From everything I read about George Harrison, it seems like he mellowed out, staying attuned to his eastern beliefs, but was never a formal member of ISKON or other groups. He admired several religious teachers (some of whom ISKON would not approve) who taught meditation. I believe he was into the Hare Krishna mantra and friends with devotees in ISKON, but was never under control of this organization. I read that upon his death ISKON was disappointed that they did not get money from Harrison's last will.
I would think that George's wife, similarly, was never a follower of Prem Rawat to carry the premie label, but like George, may have attended different events based on a general interest in eastern religious thought. I know Prem Rawat must be disappointed he never got someone like George to follow him.
