Why the word realize in quotes? Writing "realize" like that indicates that you don't think I actually 'realized' anything. If you don't think that, use a word that accurately describes what you really think. No, you are right… you did realize your experience was based on a belief system. I stand corrected. I left because it became clear to me that Maharaji was not able to deliver on his promises. What promises were they? Unfortunately, this is not a quality that premies have - by definition, because if they do, for the most part they cease to be premies. That’s a generalization based on your narrow view of being a premie, i.e., being Mike Finch. If you want to get into definitions, Beliefs are of the mind, and mind is not of the heart. Therefore beliefs have no place in the experience... by definition. Hardly. It’s also a common usage of the language to use upper case letters as a sign of respect. The Knowledge to which I was referring was in relation to the word Truth (which I should have also capitalized). It is because I have the greatest respect for the Truth that is found by pursuing inner Knowledge that I used capitals. So now you are freed up to eat anything you want, are you also free to over-indulge in alchohol and have affairs too? I’ve always been free to do that. Do you believe that knowledge was a gift from Maharaji? Do you believe Maharaji is the Lord incarnate? Do you believe that Maharaji has had a long term mistress? Do you believe Maharaji was mistaken to trust Mike Finch with preparing aspirants for knowledge and revealing the techniques to them? Do you believe it is just possible that Mike did 'get it' and decided it wasn't enough? Or do you believe you should never leave room in your mind for doubt? Trick question… right?
