... I remember well "teenaged girl troll" ("daughter of premies") who lead everyone down the garden path, posting on the forum with her sweetness and openness, and then said that she didn't care if Jagdeo victim "A" had been raped by a herd of elephants.

Ah yes, I remember that invention well. It was from one of the "gang of five" serial premie trolls, the guy we call DR or Doc.

The character did seem convincing to many, but not to everyone. "She" was causing great confusion and dissent. I thought the character was a pretence, and posted something that caused the premie pretender behind the fake character to lose his rag -- and make the comment he did.

I still feel bad about that. The forums were much harder to manage back then (forum technology has improved a lot over the last few years) and one's options for exposing trolls much more limited. Things work so much better with active moderators and the "register to post" method.

I have to say the character "Sam" seems to me to share some charactaristics with that earlier "off-spring of premies". DR in particular does seem to like to pretend to be the child of premies. It's like he needs to imagine that the cult worked out OK for someone -- anyone!

But as there are no happy endings for cult victims in real life (except to quit the cult) he has to invent these imaginary, but contented, customers of Rawat.

So yes, Cynthia is right. You may think you are dealing with a confused teenager, but in reality you could be dealing with an cynical cult activist who is working hard to pass himself off as a "confused" teenaged girl decades his junior. And the reason to do that? Why, to bear false witness, of course. To jerk folk about, and to sew confusion, dissent and suspicion.
