Joan Apter is a licensed Massage Therapist with over 14 years of training in the use and application of therapeutic Essential Oils. She has advanced training in the medicinal applications of essential oils from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey and holds an international certificate of study from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy. Joan is a registered professional member of the International Aromatherapy Association.
Joan has studied all over the world with luminaries in the field, including Dr. Daniel Penoel, Jean Claude LaPraz, Michael Scholes, Valerie Ann Worwood, Kurt Schnaubelt and Dr. Gary Young.
Joan offers aromatherapy massage for physical, mental/emotional and spiritual balance.

As a corporate trainer, has coached managers in the areas of organizational change, personal and employee performance improvement, stress management and experiential learning methods. For seven years, Ms. Apter was the Regional Training Manger for Elan Vital, Inc., an international nonprofit educational organization.
