Rawat doesn't hang around when it comes to sorting out his personal interests - that's why 'India' is the next big thing - it's just a problem about how to build up a few residences, helicopters etc without having to give up any of the existing assets, - and to not overlu disappoint the western hosts of the Rawat parasite to the extent that they stop feeding the money stream..
Remember all the fuss fifteen months ago about 'selected' insiders getting the nod about moving their investments out of Amarro - that wasn't about Rawat being worried about his special chums. He's got a new project that's going to need even bigger capital lending than the IRCC farce - anyone want to bet against Rawat having already bought a chunk of Indian real estate that is just begging to be developed into a holy gathering place replete with computerised bidet for the world's leading inspirational speaker ?
And as the US business sponsorship from Amtext and Deltek is begining to look anaemic - Rawat's new best 'old' friend is no doubt the very well connected Sri Bhanderi whose Nepalese associates would surely welcome any opportunity to invest outside of Nepal given the madness of that benighted country's ruling family and recalcitrance of its Maoist guerillas.
Sell the GSV - er no, its on a 10 year lease and the chance of realising any significant liquidity from it is very slim - just an avoidance of another five or six years payments at $4.5million per annum. If something has got to give to make Rawat's next self agrandising dream financialy possible - then Amaroo is top of the list. My guess is they'll try to raise cash by selling it for leaseback - the only question will be can Rawat's money people convince potential purchasers that the existing loans really are unsecured and the premies have absolutely no charge on any of the Amaroo real estate. Of course even then there's the commercial loans that were supposed to be short term but which are looking decidedly long term to account for - plusthe question of how much has Myrine leveraged already on the basis that it owns Amaroo - it's not quite The Producers but ....
Still there's lots of life yet left in Rawat Inc. I mean if push comes to shove LindaP can afford to keep the whole empire liquid for years to come if she is that way inclined.
