They are in a cult that restricts their ability to think clearly, and the majority, if not all of them, would be better off out of it.

Depends on the alternative, I guess. Actually I'm sort of grateful that I was seduced by a cult that had such an anemic hold on me, especially as I compare my experience with friends who were in Scientology or something. Man, you don't look crosswise at those guys. And as far as I can make out Scientology is not even a "religious" cult, although it has a rather intriguing narrative. So, if one were to leave the Maharaji cult for Scientology, or the Mormons, or something maybe he'd be better off just staying put. I mean, assuming nobody asks him to perform a self-amputation in order to catch a spaceship flight or something. (Well, premies don't even believe in spaceships do they? So that's alright then.)
