There's no good reason to believe that it's probable that some lucky bastard is going to dream the winning lottery numbers because statistics bear it out that somebody's got to have such a dream.

Yes there is if enough people dreamed of lottery numbers.  Your example, rather vague, is of people dreaming of the future.  Everyone does that sometimes, somehow.  I'm sure that once in a while the dreams will be astounding coincidences.  Aren't you?
