One time in the late 70s, Rawat said that he had "never lost a premie." What that was interpreted to mean, was that even if people leave the cult, Rawat's grace is still happening in their lives, and that they likely would come back, once they figured out that "the world" had nothing to offer them.
The corrolary to that was that Rawat said that a premie was "ruined" as far as the world was concerned, so they can't really go anywhere else but back to him. (This is suppored by the "internal rotting vegetables" and the "going to hell" threats that he also laid on us.)
More recently, he said that ex-premies were "unlit matches," which in some ways was a new thing for him, because he appeared to be admitting that knowledge doesn't work for everyone, although he said that these people were given knowledge because of "the generosity of the Perfect Master," which I guess is that Rawat would allow people to receive knowledge who shouldn't.
Other than that, I've never heard Rawat even admit that 99% of the people who receive knowledge split. That would be an admission of too much error on the part of someone who considers himself perfect (at least as far as being a "master" is concerned.)
