I can see both sides of this, both your two points and Babalouji's points. I guess only time will tell, as the drama unfolds. The alternative young culture is smarter and hipper and well connected to the internet. On the other hand, there is no shortage of dysfunctional parents churning out emotionally damaged children who may still be vulnerable to wanting love and peace, no matter how hip and savvy they may be with their peers. In that regard, the world has not changed, just a new setting. |
