I agree. M needs a hefty dose of adoration at arms length. However, you may have noticed that the crowds that come to adore him are continually shrinking in the west. And the last event I attended, this January, confirms your analysis of "the most banal hour" of his thoughts and ramblings. The substance abuse seems to be taking its toll on his sharpness and the coherent flow of ideas that used to be part of what I liked about listening to a "whole hour" satsang. The ability to have a theme, travel all over the place and then bring it all together at the end. It doesn't happen any more. Maybe that's why most videos are now excerpts, pieced together and are 37 minutes long, for the most part.
