In which case you are free not to accept it. Of course there is the dimension of the social pressure around to 'accept' - but you won't be the first person to find themselves rejecting the received wisdom of family/community.

Most premies are sweet people, and they get terribly hurt when anyone disrespects Rawat - but being 'sweet' doesn't equal being 'in the right'. It is also the case that Rawat has attracted some deeply unpleasant people, numbers of whom are in the upper echelons of his organisations.

I guess the difficulty for you is going to be that having 'researched' Rawat and the set up that keeps him in luxury - it's going to be very difficult to share that with family and friends. Perhaps one of the things you need to do - quite aside from the Rawat aspects - is to look for social and personal references outside of your family, something that we all have to do if we want to mature. I 'd certainly advise not making Rawat a 'problem' between you and your folks - simply on the grounds that 'he ain't worth it.'

For more info check out the links at the top of this Forums main page - there's a variety of options, some of which you might find easier to get a handle on than others.
