I continue to be angry about the opinion voiced in Wikipedia that members of minority religions are unfairly stigmatized an persecuted by society and by disaffected former members. It may have been true 20, 30 years ago (esp. in the USA) but I do not notice anything of that here in the Netherlands now. Nobody seems to care anymore. SSB has committed many criminal acts that are well known but there is no country in Japan, USA, or W. Europe in which his organization suffers legal consequence because that would be infringement of the freedom of religion. I think that nobody here in W. Europe gets fired for his or her cult beliefs with the possible exception of civil servants who are openly scientologists in Germany.
