Jethro,
I don't believe Rawat and Co are doing anything at all about this. Prem Rawat never intended to do anything about it. Once "A's" settlement was concluded Rawat & Co. probably "put it all behind them" sighed in relief that his discomfort was over and closed the chapter, smug in the confidence that no other victims are coming forward (and there are some) because they don't have the emotional strength to pursue it because, let's not forget, some of them were genitally raped by Jagdeo at age eight or thereabouts.
Prem is too much a wimp to even fire a person he doesn't want washing his cars at the Malibu mansion, so I can't see him stepping up to the plate in order to be a responsible party in the Jagdeo matter by talking to him directly. He's covered in shit on this matter and he knows it.
He's a coward of the worst kind because in this case, all of the burden, pain, suffering and humiliation is being borne by Jagdeo's victims and that's just fine by Rawat. And his birdbrain wife Marolyn can go to hell too about all of this, too because if she didn't know about it in the 1970s (I think she did) I can't see how she's made it through all these years not ever being informed by someone about it later on. Marolyn was "our mother," Durga Ji, and the actual mother of her children, but she didn't do anything either to help innocent children. "Just pray to Maharji, I'd imagine she'd say." What a stupid c***.
And before anyone comes back at me here, compelled to defend Marolyn Rawat (poor, poor Marolyn), to tell me she "didn't have any power in Rawat's cult" don't forget, when she wanted to get f**ked by someone other than her husband, she did find the strength and power and the courage to have an affair with someone who wasn't her husband. So she wasn't afraid to cross Rawat about that, but she couldn't muster the courage to lift one finger for those innocent children, or later on when they were grown up. She's covered in shit, too. And being ill is no excuse either. I know plenty of folks whose integrity doesn't fly out the door, even in the face of serious illness. There's just no excuse for her either.
Does anyone ever take responsibility for anything in that bloody cult??? Excuse me, I forgot, Prem Rawat did talk to "A's" father at an Amaroo program, apologizing to HIM (not the victim, mind you) crying his crocodille tears, like Scott Peterson in his 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer. What an incredible bastard. Talk about taking even more control out of the hands of the victim in this situation.
It's the denial one has to look at and measure, because that's what earmarks the abuse. They have to protest because Rawat covered it up. He's a spineless, sociopathic coward. He put himself before children in the 70s, and he's standing by that decision today. It's infuriating, but not surprising.
Yeah, it's a little bit of a rant, but the Rawats are so deserving, and anger really is the appropriate reaction about all of this.
