Why would fear need to be used if the K was all-so-wonderful on its own?  Seriously.... why didn't we ask this simple question to ourselves.

You certainly remember all of the hype about K and how wonderful it was, etc, etc.  I sure do!  If that were actually true, why would anyone need fear to bolster their belief....... heck, belief wouldn't have even been an afterthought if it was one-tenth as wonderful as M said it was......

But, of course, like M, the K is a crock, what it is supposed to be is a crock, liberation is a crock, eternity is a crock, infinity is a crock and immortality is a crock........ therefore, fear must be used to keep us obedient, lest we figure it out!
