Back in the mid-90s Maharaji put on a special dog and pony show in Thousand Oaks (I think).  He even had his Apple laptop on stage with him and he was showing us the statistics.  And, yes, he was using all the classic tricks to show more than there was.  I know I detected the deception because I actually did go to college and I studied statistics.  Still, I think most of the premies did not see through the deception and there was a lot of ooohhhingg and aaaahhhing.

So, how does Maharaji (Prem Rawat the airplane pilot) pronounce the word "statistics"?

Sa-tis-tics.

Yep, he drops the first "T".  Ok, maybe someone has since had the courage to straighten out the Imperfect Master and he might be saying it correctly now, but back in 1996 that's how he said it.
