Thanks, Hilltop, pertinent as always.

"It has been said that God, or Guru Maharaji comes into the world..."

The point about this is that quotes that appeared in sanctioned publications always required Prem Rawat's approval. In my view he cannot palm this off with the excuse that he was helpless to prevent others making grandiose claims.

For one thing, there are far too many grandiose claims for him to say a particular quote was a mere abberation in a publication that slipped his attention.

For as long as I have been involved, nothing that is contained in any official Elan Vital document is ever published without being referred to Rawat's inner circle and, from what I have read here and elsewhere, the same goes for EV's predecessor organizations such as Divine Light Mission.

Because of the way the organization is structured, approval by anyone in the inner circle implies approval by Prem Rawat.

I believe it may safely be assumed that if some beneficient contributor referred to Rawat as God, then, if the article subsequently appeared in print, Rawat approved of it.

What a low-life worm. Imagine his testimony in court: "Yeah, but like I said, how can I help it it if people want to think of me as God?" No wonder he needs cognac.

By the way, I keep reading things on this forum that suggest some mystical power is imparted by meditation of which the rest of civilization is blissfully ignorant. Very little reputable evidence supports this view.

In my opinion, these contributors would make better use of their time studying Einstein, Darwin and Dostoyevsky with a little Janis Ian, Leonard Cohen, Sting and Robert Johnson thrown in for light relief.
