I agree, and I probably should have not posted what I was thinking. I am speculating far far too much. I guess I meant by the extreme to the other was being a cult member to what I believe was going to far in activism against the cult. I thought his article was great. And he interviewed me for the article and I feel I put a small bit of trust in him. I guess because I think, correctly or not, that he had something to do with the Scattini letter and that he was the person that said "this is war" when I objected to the mailing of that letter-I took it very personally and I held a grudge because I suspected he had done this. I guess I see the apology letter and this request as just plain weird. Maybe not a good example of an extreme, but perhaps in their own way a blindfolded leap off a cliff, just like joining a cult, or IMO treating being an ex like you have joined a new cult- or crusade.
