If Rawat asked premies to live with him permanently in Amaroo, I'm sure at least 1000 would do so. I would hope that of those, the majority would draw the line at doing anything comparable to drinking Koolaid (which might or might not be laced with poison - as I'm sure you know, there were several dry runs before the mass murder). But, many premies would do whatever Rawat asked, and it is only your belief that he would never ask anything like that asked by Jones that allows you to differentiate the two. But as Rawat is just an ordinary person, it is possible he could go crazy, isn't it? And if he did, the unnatural influence he has over his followers means that something like Jonestown remains a possibility.
The only way you can remove this possibility, is to remove the power invested in Rawat. Appoint independent (non-premie) trustees to his organisations. Introduce grass roots democracy in decision making. Allow real questions to Rawat and the leaders of his organisations at public events. And when he demands another expensive toy, tell him premies can't afford it, as propagation and humanitarian efforts come first.
