I now understand why van der Braak is so mild about Cohen. The reason is, as he said in a downloadable interview on Dutch radio, that he wrote the book 5 years after he left. He said that in that period his anger waned away for a great deal and also because he said the abuse just happened due to natural mechanisms caused by the relationship between a charismatic guru and his disciples. But if somebody can explain me why you fell for somebody who lacked all intellectual depth, unlike Cohen and SSB? This is something I find a bit difficult to understand.
