Jimmy Goldstein, the psychologist from DC, told me that Alan stayed with him after he left the fold. He said the final "drip" was at some meeting with instructors in which prem was rambling on and on, and in the midst of it all, he told Alan to "watch out for his sex life", in other words, to not have one...

Supposedly Alan said "maharaji, you don't what the hell you're talking about"....there may have been another response from maharaji, and Alan may have said "fuck off' or something like that...

Alan was very bright, intense, psychologically oriented and at one time led some knowledge reviews that helped premies a lot, in dealing with the heavy cult conditioning that had been laid on them.

I think he hnew he was right about a lot of the cult conditioning stuff, and he started to realize how completely fucked up and full of shit maharaji really was, and basically just outgrew him, as we all eventually did...

Alan would be VERY interesting to talk to today, if he would be willing to talk about his past experiences with the speaker...(might have to be "off the record", so he  wouldn't screw up his professional life....
