You know, quite a few people have talked about the directive to destroy old cult stuff, but I honestly don't remember that.  Not that I had that much stuff anyway; I was not one to collect it, and living in the ashram it was all around anyway.

I can relate to the reasons you left.  I remember Kissimme 1979 and it was pretty awful.  I think if I had stayed in Miami, I would have left sooner, because it was particulary insane.  But I got sent to SF, the people were cool, and I hung on for a couple more years.
