Elisa,
You pulled one of those linguistic twists with this response, even though that was my whole point. Of course you wish other seekers well, it would be bad of you if you didn't. I do, also. But that was not what I was asking. My questions were about cultish exclusivity, where two brothers both claim to be the master and denounce each other, and how premies answer this issue with linguistics tricks that avoid the question instead of answering it.
I wrote to the people at Manav Dharam about Prempal and got the response that they see Prempal in a very negative way but they do not want to engage in ugly denounciations and so they prefer to make no mention of him in any way. The feeling is mutual, I'm sure.
Here is my point now, the point I've been trying to make about exclusivity: Peace and joy and clarity are not owned by anyone and gurus establish cults in which they attempt to monopolize these ideals and offer them to people if they will agree to become devoted to the guru, to his particular teaching, and to his organization to some extent or another. It is not enough to just follow whatever makes you feel good, it is necessary to ask if the truth is being taught and if you are being true to peace and joy and clarity as they really are.
It's like somebody taking air and putting it in bottles and selling it to people. Sure you could buy that air, and breathe it, and it would have all the oxygen you need. Yes, you are alive and well, but you've just played the fool. You could get that air better without the bottling.
Believe me, you don't need to spend an hour every day with those techniques and you don't need to rely on Rawat's speeches. Peace and joy and clarity are yours as a right of birth if you simply partake of your own resources!
If you really wanted peace and joy and clarity you would go for it. But what you want is inspiration and nourishment and dependency on a savior figure, or at least a father figure. I don't think you can see this about youself, because all the posts that you make here are denials, but it is very evident to me.
