The guru himself is the one that brings the "lost and degenerates"

It is not the student that creates the personality cult.
It is the absolutely inevitable result you get when a guy sets himself up as a guru.........his own narcissism.
That narcissism, the curse that comes from playing god, or in the professors wording, "symbolizing" god.The whole premise of pretending to be god in form is a disaster for all involved.
Sure, we may have some bliss from dancing with god incarnate, what a trippy party! God at his own dads birthday hosting a dance a thon all night long and you are there !!
Coming before god incarnate and kissing his feet, in a room with deep layers of carpet, negative Ion generating machines, gardinia scenting, --ok, granted, he is wearing a metal sock under his multiple layers of cloth socks.
So when you bang your teeth down on his foot, he seems not to notice.
Ah, the perks of that delusion!!
Non the less, it is total fraud, cannot be made positive, cannot be made non destructive for all concerned.
And meditation cannot accomplish you becomeing god.
It is as if by meditation you could become ME!
Or your cat, or a tree.
