In his "apology" John Macgregor claims that he exceeded all bounds of common and professional decency in his article about Maharaji.  He dehumanized him, scapegoated him and mercilessly invaded his privacy. 

That sounds eerily similar to something I read in the "hate-group" article on Wikipedia.  "Dehumanizinge their targets..."  Yup, it's right there I just checked.  Some premie must have got to John and fed him this awful mindf**king crap. 

Also, this confession bullshit?  That's so characteristic of destructive cults.  Confession of one's "sins" is a hallmark of a cult.  John had nothing to confess.
