That's certainly true. Even those who've remained since the abolition of satsang effectively 'left', in the sense of abandoning all the old prohibitions, having as little as possible to do with the money raising orgs, not worrying if they hardly ever meditate, & so on. The only thing which distinguishes them from anyone else, at least the ones I know, is a near 100% history of relationship breakdown, & the urge to go & see Rawat once a year or so.
