As a kid I used to press my eyes and would see light. I didn't do it much because I figured--probably correctly--that it would damage my eyes.
As a divine experience, forget it. If that's God, then God is frankly pretty useless--impersonal, passive, dumb, impotent. Just a light in your head. No wonder M can claim that guru is greater than God, when "God" is so useless. I walked away from M because I realised that it didn't matter how bright the light was, an impersonal light would never meet the needs of a personal being (me). I'd swap a billion watts of M's light for one relationship with a real person any day.
Anyway, if you want light open the curtains. There's far more light out of the window. In, what'd you call it?, oh yeah, the real world.
