Interesting how Jonathan doesn't back Rawat's horse in this race for a big, fat pat on the back. 

But I wonder about something else .... isn't Jonathan's middle name Ellis as in "Jon Ellis" the author of the ELK post I quoted from below:

It seemed to begin where most three days events end. In past years it has taken a while for audience excitement to reach fever pitch. The recent emergence of an "ex-premie movement" though has clearly had a positive effect. Suddenly, the hall has no more reluctant doubters with hot criticisms and cold feet. Those with "issues'" have gone elsewhere. Those who remain are not living in ignorance. It sounds familiar to me somehow.  I knew Jonathan a bit back when his brother shared my flat in LA.  It niggles.  Could it be?  It certainly would jive with Jonathan's commitment to the truth.
