Back in 1973, a book was published with the title "Who is Guru Maharaj Ji?" It was published in anticipation of the Millennium festival at the Houston Astrodome. The book was a PR piece put together by DLM. Charles Cameron, the so called "Bard" of DLM/EV, was the editor.

Rennie Davis wrote the Introduction. Among other comments in the Introduction, Rennis stated about Maharaj Ji: "He is the greatest event in history and we sleep through it." He went on to say: "When a devotee makes the outrageous statement that Guru Maharaj Ji is the Lord of the Universe, it's cause for chuckle. But it also happens to be true. Guru Maharaj Ji is the Lord of the Universe and anyone can find out who sincerely wants to know."
