If you do not see life in terms of black and white, if you recognise the majesty and the incomprehensibility of life, you must also recognise that Life is by definition greater than Knowledge. Knowledge (the techniques that is) is a tool to know life. Without life Knowledge would be like having eyes without light. It is not the eyes that are incredible but the fact that you can see something with them that is. So which is greater... to you? It is I am afraid the religious mind with all its built in concepts and fears that would like us to believe that if we step 'outside' of its truth and knowledge and understanding we will be lost in the 'void'. The religious mind does do that, you are right. Practically however, being lost in the void only happens when your heart is empty. That has nothing whatsoever to do with religion. Implicit in you concern is the fact that somehow the process of knowing oneself is only possible through K. It always boils down to that, does it not? Outside of 'this' there is no hope (of knowing yourself, of being happy, of being clear....) No I sincerely do not believe what you said. But please tell me about other way you have found. Why do you think that is? In His perfection God apparently places Himself in the heart of every human being but then gives the Key to 'one' Master...Is this what they mean by 'intelligent design' ? Perhaps, but I also don't think building hunger into human beings is intelligent. Or having to have a mate before procreation will occur. If having a Master holding the key is the way it is, based on the Creator's track record it would not surprise me. What you should try and do is balance the rhetoric of K with the reality of K and see if you still think you ought to have genuine concern for those who are no longer plugged into it. Please don't misunderstand me... I don't have a concern for people who leave Knowledge. Whatever you need to do is fine with me in that regard. I do have a concern however with people dissing the whole thing based on a disgruntled view of things. It spoils it for people who could benefit from it. BTW thanks for your post. |
