Sunday, 23 January, was the last day of the wonderful and blissful three-day event with Maharaji in Los Angeles.
We spent the morning in a Knowledge review and looking at the Keys #1, which he has prepared for aspirants. It is really incredible to say the least. This was followed by some lovely video footage of him speaking with divine music in the background.
To listen brought tears to the eyes and warmth to the heart.
The afternoon event started again with a thunderous applause as he made his way to his chair. The band played and Daya sang again to the appreciation of the audience. It was a setting that promised a lovely evening with him.
His presentation was again very profound and mixed with some humour. He talked about the ocean of confusion that we have to cross; that this body is the vessel; that the breath is our blessing; that we need a strong oarsman to take us across.
He said that this life is to be filled with that beauty everyday; "No matter what!!"
He gave many examples of going home; going to that place which we have been shown.
It was so beautiful to listen to him talk about this. That we should know the road that takes us home and avoid the ones that do not take us home.
To an attentive audience with pin-drop silence, Maharaji touched our hearts when he reminded us that if we pray, we should pray to be in that Peace and to pray to "help me to recognize the blessings of this breath."
At the end of His presentation he left us with His love by saying that we should see our path and if there are any obstacles, clear them so that our journey will be smooth.
The musicians and singers came out again and with everyone standing and dancing and clapping to Daya?s rendition, "The Power of Love," Maharaji got up and danced and when he walked off the stage he did so in all his magnificence and beauty and elegance.
Seems to me like a little LOTU juju is creeping in there doesn't it? Do people talk about Tony Robbins, Robert Schuller, Leo Buscaglia, Denis Waitley, Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, or Jim Rohn etc. like that?
