Let me spell it out for you. Our Lord is the Superior Power in Person That's right. OUR lord, not "the" Lord or "your" Lord but OUR lord, being OUR master, teacher who is a great influence in his chosen profession. Which is showing and encouraging his followers to experience God within. He is a manifestation of the Superior Power. I bow down before such a wonderful Lord. Arti comes from India where every day millions of people get down on their knees to pray to God in hundreds of different forms from monkeys to saddhus. Bowing down before your guru is as natural as shaking someone hand. Get over it. Exes constant carping about people touching or kissing a guru's feet is simple racism. We don't do that in Vermont, so no one should do it.
