Mike,Any experience that has the positive effects you outline, and no negative effects, would of course be worth having, and worth pursuing as long as the pursuit does not lead to the (IMO) negative effect of self-centered hedonism. It is the belief that the experience has greater significance than the postive effects you mention that requires verification. Falling in love often has the effects you describe, and although love is often assigned cosmic significance, it's not necessary to do so to experience it.
By a 'small verifiable piece of info...', I meant that if one really did know everything, then one might know where the missing Moors murderer's victim's remains are buried, or where Lord Lucan is, or how life came to be.
