I'm not sure there's an economy to save!  way back in my childhood I remember the shock horror expressed when money got unhooked from gold.  omg the folks were saying, that means it's not got a basic value it's just printed paper.  anything could happen.

and it has over and again and now this massive spend up - if they use the virus as an excuse to raise any kind of taxes isn't it just an excuse to raise taxes - I mean how can it have any relation to balancing any sort of budget.

I think they must be going to print a lot more money don't you think?  why not?

But yes, as that article shows, it's our age bracket that will be targeted for some dosh.

so I'm doing my bit to help the economy and spending up - a Tesla Powerwall battery to go with my solar panels, that will help Elon get to Mars they are so expensive, but no more power cuts, and a water tank - rainwater to drink, a bit of work on the house, an enclosure on my verandah, might finally get to grow some spinach, a nice back gate and a chicken coop.

Then I'm going on the pension.    (well that's the plan but I am daunted by all the bureaucracy, all the forms to fill and so on, I keep putting it off).
