I'm pretty sure not too many ex-ers go searching for more knowledge about Prem Rawat but I do as I extend and fact check my site. Google does not give them a high priority but does include them.

There are now malicious web-sites trying to attract traffic by using parts of PR spin websites and other quotes. I suppose this means Rawat is attracting enough queries to justify these malicious sites. It's ironic, the Maharaji meme is malicious, a parasite that lives off our dreams to transcend our actual humanity and these parasites are trying to get their cut of the traffic.

I don’t understand the significance of this. Are you saying that scammers are putting up fake sites that have nothing to do with cult whatsoever?  I notice on social media especially Indian premies seem to be trying to drive traffic to their fan sites with his image. I think that might have been the reason for the memo as much as the fear of ex-premies posting things.

I have to deal with this in my agency on a daily basis. It goes from people trying to promote themselves in a misleading way to serious scams involving theft or malware.

One of those is nefarious actors basically imitating a serious website to sell viagra or whatever. So basically copyright infringement. Another is where they hack their way in a legitimate website and install some kind of button or something that leads people to the Viagra shop.

So first of all, everyone needs to be careful and suspicious. And I guess the Prem Rawat sites or even Ex sites are not immune to this. I mean really anything is a target. We have a client with an airport parking website that is constantly being attacked. So being attacked or imitated these days is probably not much of a sign of flattery or success.

I don't know exactly how these sites wish to attack you because I accepted by malware guards advice and didn't enter them but it does not take much examination of the website links to recognise them as malicious
