Now, in this greatest function, I believe that there may be about a half-million persons assembled here. These half million people are like a drop in the ocean in the presence of the 550 million people of India. Therefore, my dear aspirants, the Knowledge of self-realization, as you call it, is the same Knowledge I have come to give to you. I possess that Knowledge and I give it to the people. And by imparting that Knowledge of self-realization, I want to restore peace in the universe. I want to restore peace in this universe, that peace for which all the so- called religious leaders are striving.

India has a great history, and the pattern of this history has not been broken. The record is that when there was a decline in Truth, then God Himself came and controlled the situation. No so-called religious leaders or political leaders could even dare to do that. This is the record of India. When there were many cruel actions at the time of Guru Govind Singh, He took the sword in His own hand and He fought. This is the record of India.

That is a translation, no doubt because as he used to keep reminding us, he could not speak 35 languages and we should stop exaggerating how many languages he speaks and save the exaggeration for talking about how fantastic your experience of Knowledge is.

The Word has enough power to unify the Universe. It was not difficult
for that one eternal vibration to bring together 350 head-strong minds.
When finally a fresh and purifying wind began to rush through the maze
of their thoughts, the lost children found themselves looking into the
face of their Father. There was not much time left to be with Guru
Maharaj Ji. The second half of the Hans Jayanti Festival was to be held
in Patna. From there the Westerners would return to their own countries.
On the last night of their stay in Prem Nagar. Guru Maharaj Ji spoke to

"I am leaving for Patna. Maybe we can have a couple of
hours in Patna to talk, but it is very busy there. So regularly do
meditation. This is a very important point. Maybe you do not understand
it now, but when you leave me, when I am away, then you will understand
how significant meditation is.

blessings has nothing to be afraid of in the world. Don't be afraid."

Eight abreast, the procession of 750,000 people walked through the
streets of Patna to the Gandhi Grounds. One hundred floats supporting
paintings of past Perfect Masters two times life size were drawn by
water buffalo. A line of fifty elephants, with their babies clinging to

band which announced the swan chariot of Guru Maharaj Ji. It was some
parade.

rumored that a young militant group, the Arya Samaj, had decided to
disrupt the festival. The American disciples were the subject of special
hostility as a result of the Indo-Pakistani war. At one point the
wiring for the light and sound equipment was cut and the crowd of one

eleven people had been killed and several badly beaten.
