Those comments and everything else you said provide such a clear and concise snapshot of how everything works in that cult. So much so that I ditched my draft of an embarassingly snarky reply to 1972. It ended with "at the downward rate he's going, Prem's likely to end-up whistling and saying "Don't worry. Be happy."

But then, out of curiousity, I watched the video of that song for the first time. I was also concerned about cynically reducing and associating Bobby McFerrin's well-deserved Grammy Song of the Year (that really did resonate worldwide) with something as frivolous and cockeyed as "freedom is being able to say thank you that you are alive."
Nevertheless, with no disrespect to Bobby or his song, the video made me laugh and struck me as a fitting curtain call (the dancing scenes) on that cult as the sun slowly sets in the background:
