So much in the thread is second hand or anonymous. I hesitate to put it on FB. Somehow posting it here where people get the context makes more sense. I posted it in support of what was published in newspapers.
Another thing, in the thread, that bugs me, besides the abuses. Anth literally saves toddler Daya’s life ( really twice… but I mean the pool thing) and they don’t invite him in to dry off? He goes home dripping wet in a car. A thank you?
I am very sensitive to child drownings. It wasn’t rare in South florida. I know one premie child (grandchild) drowned not far away from that time anth is referencing. The image of Daya at the bottom of the pool; I have known that story to have a less happy ending. It sure as hell isn’t limited to premies. I am not trying to imply that. Ignoring the person that saved your child’s life is damn weird though.
