Fortunately I love swimming too, but one accident too many and it's got too painful to walk very far.  When I do have a little walk in the forest, it still gives me those feelings like being in a church in nature.

Yoga is no more enlightened than Catholicism and just as exploitative - those mahatmas were well versed in psychological bullying to get people caught in the cult.

If I remember right someone posted here that there is a little release of endorphins into the throat on the in breath - something like that.

It's not just that I don't want some guru insinuated into that, I don't want any ideas being insinuated at all, and definitely no hogwash - I'm pretty certain I don't need to practice how to take my dying breath for an hour a day and I am dead out horrified at the way we were expected and therefore tried to loop back every thought to focusing on the breath.

I like my mind.

One of the concepts underpinning conspiracy theorists along with other religious groups is that what we know, what we see as an individual is not the whole truth therefore there is no such thing as a concrete reality.

That's not logical at all.

And I think the kookaburra who's just joined me on the verandah would make short work of such an idea if he ever came across it.  Well he just expressed himself on the topic - I will have to clean it up later.
