My 'first one' is a life-long friend who knew rawat & other newage gurus from India in the very early years(1969ish).Let me just say that since that time he got involved in some very destructive stuff and is very, very lucky to be alive.
And yes he has seen this website in it's infancy and nevertheless still wanted a meditation discipline.
He saw many of his friends become premies (and leave). I suppose when, at this late stage of life, he chose k because so many of his friends did.
I'm not gonna drive him nuts dissing rawat every time we meet.
Almost all of my friends were premies before I left, he is one of the few remaining.
