As we all know, Elan Vital has pretty much avoided even talking about any of the criticisms that ex-premies have of Maharaji, knowledge and the organization, and instead have gone on the attack, saying that the exes postings and the websites, are  all just the musings of a "hate group."

 It's pretty lame, although I wouldn't be surprised if premies looking for a rationale as to why they don't have to deal with the (many) problems Maharaji has, and the (many) legitimate cirticisms people have about him and his behavior over the years, would accept it.  I mean, just look at Bunny's post below and you'll see how easy it is to do that when you have a cherished belief system to protect.

Anyhow, the current spin of Elan Vital seems to be that there is really one major wacko behind the ex-premies and that's John Brauns who has been "exposed" when John Macgregor "apologized" some time back.  

The spin apparently is that it wasn't because the cult lawyers went after John Macgregor and practically destroyed him that he "apologized" to Maharaji in the hope of saving his financial future, but rather that John "came to his senses" and left the "hate group" because we are all so nuts, vicious, and just plain mean, made this way, apparently, by the internet, or something like that.  Elan Vital even has some links to some bogus pshcological analysis of what the interent does to people, and it isn't good. 

So, the spin seems to be that Macgregor "exposed" JHB as the owner of EPO and PRMI and that this was some big revelation because it had all been anonymous before, and that caused all kinds of consternation among the ex-premies.   Riiiiiiiiight!

First of all, John, how many years has it been that you have openly used your name on EPO and fully disclosed yourself as the webmaster? 5 years? More?  Second, I think that John Brauns publicly acknowledged his ownership of the PRMI website because Elan Vital brought a copyright action and then, as usual, backed down when John called their bluff.  But, like so what?  John has been the webmaster of those sites, but hundreds of people have contributed to them. 

And how many of us have used our own names for years on the internet to discuss Maharaji and our former cult?  Many have, me included.

I mean if the whole ex-premie discussion is because of John Brauns, what is the big deal to EV?  Of course, never worried about contradictions, EV says simultaneously that there is also a "group" specifically a "hate group," which, depending on the spin at the moment, is either very large or very small, and they also are all anonymous partly so they can pretend to be larger than they are.

But EV seems to know a lot about a lot of these people, including their professions, psychological conditions, legal hassles, and a lot of other things, which they plaster all over EV's official website.  One wonders how they could know that about "anonymous" people, and one wonders why , when EV puts up damaging information about people on its website, which may or may not be true, why Elan Vital is not also a hate group, calling kettles black as it spins in ciricles.

It is such culthink.  If you criticize Maharaji, you must be derranged in some way, are just angry, mean, and without sense.  How else could a premie explain it?  And of course, premies who viciously attack ex-premies are not a hate group, are not vicious or mean, or angry.  No, they are experiencing the gift of inner peace.
