JHB, Mike,

Did one of you remove a thread that Arthur started? Or did it just disappear down a black hole on the interweb?

It would be nice if a message was posted as to why, if you did so.

On previous forums there was a rule that if an ex-premie is attacked elsewhere on the internet, that attack can only be posted here with the permission of the person attacked. It's a good rule, so me and Mike decided it should apply here.

John.

John,

sensible policy. ...but in scanning I seem to recall that while it was up the thread included something from 13 that (seemed to me) a particularly good read.  Is there anyway of putting selective parts of the thread back up .?

best

Tim

and there was a pertinent follow-up from Hamzen I was mulling over, thinking of replying maybe..

But maybe the whole thread just had to go. A headless thread...oh well.

We would have had to delete each post individually, keeping those that could stand alone. Possibly in this case we should have taken the necessary care so apologies from me and Mike.

John.

Thanks. It would have been a pain to have to do that - far easier I am sure to just hit delete. No problem.

Hi,

John (Admin) gave me the option of deleting the thread because it was about a personal attack on me, and I asked him to remove the thread.

Thanks for your concern.
