My Abstract review of PIP on the Shvoong website, in a shorter version than my main review on my website now has a rival review by a Prem supporter - it is possible to give the reviews a rating on a one to five scale - could be worth seeing what you make of these two assessments of Cagan's book

Hi Arthur,

Maharaj Ji has also been protective towards a controversial India based Knowledge Instructor and follower, Mahatma Jagdeo, despite the man facing multiple paedophilia allegations. The cult denied association with him until forced to do so in court, and he is believed to have never been stripped of office in the cult’s Indian operations.

I'm not aware of any court proceedings concerning Jagdeo. It's very important to be accurate and factual concerning any information stated about Prem Rawat and his associates, especially when one isn't the individual personally involved with an allegation i.e., first person witness/victim .  As far as I know, the Australian victim of Jagdeo settled with EV out of court and neither Jagdeo nor anyone from EV/TPRF or Rawat appeared in court proceedings concerning Jagdeo.

Is it possible for you to edit your post there?

I agree that so far as we know Jagdeo has never appeared in court for his crimes.

As a sop the cult, in the form or Elan Vital, did apparently initiate legal proceedings against Jagdeo.  However we never heard what further actions, if any, occurred on these apparent legal proceedings and it certainly is the responsibility of Elan Vital to update the world on what happened.  I rather suspect that Elan Vital quietly dropped their action in the hope that it all would be forgotten about quietly, seeing that the Jagdeo issue, in the same vein as the Indian bicycle accident, still has such an explosive impact on Prem Rawat's reputation.
