An independent family-owned publishing house which could take up to 3 months to respond to submissions, doesn't sound like they're looking for the next JK Rowling.

"The mission of Mighty River Press is to publish high-quality
contemporary books about self-discovery, with an emphasis on
biographies of leading voices for peace and on inspiring books that
help people discover their true nature."

Despite the plurals in this paragraph from the Mighty River Press homepage, they have managed to publish only one book.  I'd say that aren't looking very hard for any others.  Gosh, it almost makes you wonder if Mighty River Press isn't just one more bunch of bullshit.  But, no, that couldn't be it.  Surely not.  Nobody would do that.

Nobody who hasn't been mind f$&cked, anyway.

Given Rawat's insatiable drive for legitimacy, it would have been better for his image had this biography been published by an established publisher. Does the fact that it wasn't mean that no respected publisher would touch it with a barge pole?

That's my guess.  Who is going to publish this?  Book publishers are in business to make money, or so I would assume.  When they read this book and analyze the potential market, what are they looking at for sales?  A few thousand books at most, would be my guess.   Nope, no legitimate publisher is going to touch that with a barge pole.

I'm curious what sort of gyrations and manipulations it took to set up "Mighty River Press" so prembo didn't have to, quite so obviously, publish the tripe himself.

The "publisher" has only published one book.... You guessed it.

Ms. Cagan has never interviewed her subject!

She claims in her "Authors Note" to have spoken to his cook and his photographer and some of his friends, but the subject of her book it seems was much too busy to participate in his own biography!

I find that rather surprising. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

That seemed to suggest we were very clever at manipulating facts or arguments or something like that:

They seemed to see us as out manouvering or running rings round them.

But, correct me if I'm wrong, we are just walking a straight line.
