Thanks, Hilltop! It's both awful and good to see these things--because this is what I was listening to, once! I had to laugh when I saw "people think about Rolls Royces". Yeah, right! They were on my mind all the time back then! Actually, what he should have said was "I'm always thinking about Rolls Royces, and by the way, I have a few. And you don't! Nah-nah-nah-nah nah-nah". (Give me a Jag, any day!) ~Shelagh

Thanks Hilltop, good (if that's the right word) to have these referenced scans back.I have to say that I was there then, remember it well, and I particularly remember how enthralled I was, how blissed out I was to be soaking up the exquisite words of the Lord of this time, come with more powers than ever before. That is what is excruciatingly embarrassing! But thanks for keeping us focused on the reality of back then. -- Mike

Hi Mike,I'm glad to be here. Also, Thank You Premie Spouse & Shelagh for responding to this post. Rolls Rice? I thought the same thing! Reading the words of Prem Rawat is'nt always easy to do and it is embarrassing to think that we were suckered into this scam and biked by him. I dislike posting this stuff really, but the truth about this cult of cover ups and lies needs to be seen and told in my opinion. That's why I post this stuff. So here is another quote by Prem Rawat from the Divine Times ~ June/July 1978 Page 37. Best Thoughts, Hilltop At least I can try to keep things more honest, even now. Hilltop

As late as June/July 1978, a 21-year-old Mr. Rawat sings the praises of the book Who Is Guru Maharaj Ji and compares it to scripture.
In this book Maharaji’s mother is spoken of as the Divine Holy Mother of All Creation, his oldest brother is compared to Christ, and one brother is highly praised as the Divine Incarnation of Music.
On the back cover of Who Is Guru Maharaj Ji, Maharaji is acclaimed as the “greatest incarnation of God that ever trod the face of the planet.” And this is from a man who in 2005 claimed that he has never ever claimed to be anything but a human being.

A few years ago when I was in discussions about Rawat with premies, I was regularly told, "No, Maharaji never said that (did that, etc.). The 'west' just misunderstood." At that time, I'd not seen these pictures, nor read a lot of the quotes, so I didn't understand what the premies were talking about. Now I'd like to ask them, "Misunderstood what???" The crowns? The thrones? The flowers covering the belly fat? Those stupid fluffy pants? Interestingly, now that I've seen the pictures, and no doubt so have these premies since the pictures are so readily available on the internet, no one says that to me! Pity. I'd love to have those discussions again. Maybe we still can. "Say, do you remember when you told me the 'west' musunderstood? Could you explain that a little more?" and then I'll had them some print outs from here.
And speaking of the misunderstandings by the 'west'. To EV monitors: there is an old home made film of that event in Montrose, Colorado here in town. You guys should see this thing. Misunderstood? You should really view it. There's nothing to misunderstand, folks, is there? It's all there in one film. I have to tell you, it is the single most disgusting thing about Rawat that I've seen. Drop me a line, guys, maybe I can help you find it. If I were you, trying to re-write Rawat, I'd go out of my way to get my hands on that. Of course, it's going to be tough. The owner of it believes it's footage of the creator, and yes, still believes that. Might be a hard sell to get the premie to part with it. Good luck.

....you know that old Suzie Bai song, "Spread this Knowledge throughout this land..." I think it ends with something about the Lord Of Creation. LOL. Karen

Yeah, the revisionism is the one thing that truly sticks in my craw. Either Maharaji was lying then or he is lying now, or he is so completely adrift in some kind of nihilistic moral limbo that he doesn’t even know what telling the truth or telling a lie means. Scary. But what I find truly fascinating is that eerie ability premies have to expand their purposes to include just about any lunacy Maharaji comes up with.
Maharaji has unequivocally stated that he has never, ever, ever claimed to be God. People simply misunderstood him because they didn’t have that “understanding” and weren’t in that “place” or they were just plain stupid. Yet right there on Gallery 8 is a whole shipload of quotes from him stating just the opposite. And the words are directly from him! There he is saying that he is the “Lord all Powerful.” He is definitely his own worst enemy. But it’s the premies that I find the most amusing. Show them a quote where Maharaji unmistakably states that he is the Lord of the Universe and premies will say, “Well aren’t we all lords of our own personal universe.” It’s completely hilarious. Show premies that line we sang from Arti that says that Maharaji is the Superior Power in Person and premies will respond with, “Well isn’t that superior power in every person?” Ya gotta laugh!
How can you get upset with their preposterous cognitive dissonance and insane logic when it’s soooooooo damn entertaining.
