A lot of people here use every excuse to attack and denigrate Maharaji, very disrespectfully, to character-assassinate, to defame, to smear, to throw mud - hoping no doubt that some of it will stick - and are completely blind to the good Maharaji is doing in the world. Maharaji is not forcing anyone to follow him.

I have been attempting to redress the balance just a little bit on this board.

I have noted what you have said, however.

I do not agree, for example, with the Pope, or for that matter, the Dalai Lama. But I would never show such disrespect. I would have no problem arguing theologically, morally, philosophically, etc., respectfully, but I would never stoop to the level of some people on this board. I am sure they get some sort of kick or satisfaction out of it - I suppose they've got to get their kicks somehow - but I wonder what it is doing to their heart and soul. When people lose their integrity, they lose a lot more than they realise.

I think respect for other people, and self-respect, are very important qualities. It's easy to respect people you agree with - anyone can do that. But as Jesus taught: "Love your neighbour" - whether you agree with your neighbour or not.

At the very least, respect your neighbour - even if you cannot "love your neighbour" or (God forbid!!!) "love your enemy"!

(When I say "you", I mean "one" - but you knew that!)
