I for one certainly never said that and don't believe that. I did say how I was noticed that the premies I stayed in contact with seemed rather unhappy. That was just an observation.

I treat the premies who post here on an individual basis. Though it is hard not to notice that most premies respond with very similar arguments – things I have heard for almost thirty years already – for example the pre-eminence of experience over everything else. Has it ever occurred to you that this is in itself a belief? There is no axiomatic foundation for this to be simply accepted as true. On the contrary, it has been demonstrated countless times that how we experience or perceive things can at times be false or misleading. Lying around here somewhere I have a big book about the brain full with examples of this.

Finally I just want to say that premies often make very demeaning and disrespectful presumptions about ex-followers of Rawat, particularly ones who post on this forum. Elan Vital, in its FAQ about this sets the tone. Here are a few excerpts:

Is it true there is a group of former students who dedicate their time and energies to negating Maharaji’s work?

Yes, it is true. For a few years, a small internet-based group of disgruntled former students operating under the cloak of anonymity has been disparaging Maharaji, his students and Elan Vital. They operate using a fake front with a Webmaster allegedly residing in Latvia, who uses a blind e-mail address, safely outside of the reach of law. They have made no effort to provide journalists or interested parties with any independently verifiable documents or factual support for any of their allegations. Because they post on the Internet using multiple aliases they create an impression that they are numerous. However, on any given month, no more than twenty people worldwide post on their site.

Who are the people who form this hate group?

Over the years, hundreds of thousands of people have been shown the techniques of Knowledge. Some people found it was not for them and moved on. Sadly, not all people are able to take responsibility for their own life choices. A few years ago, a small but obsessed handful of people who left the practice of Knowledge in the late 1970's /early 1980's came together as an Internet group.

Well it just goes on from here. I've provided a link at the bottom if you want to read it all. Godo, do you think this is a fair characterisation of the people posting here and with whom you have been dialoguing?
